Bad Bad Bad Michael Jackson

I’ve been arguing since the start of the court case that Michael will walk out of the court as a free man. Unfortunately not moonwalking, like on his next world tour. Maybe with a Jackson 5 reunion? By the way… did you know that moonwalking was invented by… birds? Take a look at the source. Source

And Again … Branding Paris Hilton

Woah, the Observer noticed that Paris is doing quite well on her brand strategy. Looks like they just need a little time longer to get it. But indeed, they put it all together quite nicely. It all started with a home made porn tape, a famous name and some good spin to keep it edgy. A cool quote from her autobiography :

Never, ever wake up before 10; never go to bed before three. Normal hours are for normal people. You never want to be normal.

Think about it…

What You Can Learn From Golden Palace Casino

Golden Palace focuses their whole PR Strategy around big money for big bubbles. As a result of their last big attention getter, “the Pope’s car,” they got their foot in the door even in the European market. The really funny thing is to read journalists commenting on it. On one side they have to cover the story, on the other they know that they got “tricked.” To do PR for an online casino is probably one of the hardest jobs one can do (Ok, probably the second hardest after porn sites).
But why we are talking about this subject? The key to stay visible as a personal brand is to get stories. Stories that keep you alive in people’s conversations. It’s not only true for some big buzz celebrities who insure some parts of their body just for the PR reasons, but also for you. For everyone you have to deal with. The better your stories, the more your supporters have reasons to talk about you in a way you directed. Do the deed AND spread the word.
